Portfolio layouts

The main theme for my junior year portfolio is digital compression of video and .mov files. Compression is the last step upon completion of each of my projects. Compression is a complicated system of mathematical algorithms which make the files smaller in size with minimal or large loss of their quality. Compression might be used in order to put the files on the website or a dvd. To sum it up, compression is compressing large things into small. Much like my junior year portfolio- compressing large amount a work into small amount of best pieces.

Fonts I used are Foundry Gridnik, United Sans SemiExtended and Din Light.

  3. hmm.

    nice selection of fonts.

don't lock yourself into a format just yet.

    let's see the work first.

let the work direct your format.

    good?

  4. Thanks for the comments! I just disabled word verification.

As for the format- I think I pretty much know already what work is going to go into my portfolio. Most of my work is digital only- video and motion graphics. The reason why I used this format is because it's easy for me to present storyboards and styleframes.

I'm going to upload the next project I'm planning to work on either today or tomorrow. I'm excited about it and can't wait to start working on it. Also- I'm looking forward to your comments- both on the blog and in class.
